Note on Control-S hotkey combination ==================================== (Date: 9/29/94) PROBLEM: When trying to assign either Control-S or Control-Shift-S hotkey combination to a macro, a message " already used" appears. REASON: The Operating System reserves Control-S for the "Pause" key. This key is normally used for pausing the execution of OPL programs. SOLUTION: The Operating System provides a service for disabling the "Pause" keypress, DisablePauseKey. Its OPL implementation is CALL($CE8D). If you don't use the "Pause" key, you can disable it by writing a simple macro (or a separate OPL program) which looks like this: PROC macro: call($ce8d) ENDP Run this macro (or program) once and it will enable you to assign the Control-S hotkey to your macros.
